We have Digium phones. Used to use DPMA but it became more attractive to us to use Endpoint Manager once the bugs were worked out of it.
With the DPMA you have a very nice “phonebook” that is sent to the phone when provisioned. You can start typing a name and all names in the list that match appear. Just select it to dial.
With EPM what I have now is an unwieldy, nearly unusable contact list that makes me want to go back to a paper list. It takes so long to search and find a user that I can run down the hall and ask their extension quicker than I can find it on the phone.
Is there a way to emulate what I had with DPMA using only Endpoint Manager?
