We set up follow me for an extension, and added an external phone number. This was working perfectly.
We now want to remove the external phone number from follow me. We did this through the GUI, but the number still shows in the call forwarding under Extension settings. We deleted follow me for this extension, and the phone number still appears in extensions settings. Worse than that any calls to this extension forward out to the external DID. We are unable to stop this call flow to the remote phone number even though there is no more follow me for this extension.
We had the extension routing module enabled when we originally created this follow me scenario. The extension routing module was automatically terminated for us at the end of the one year mark and we do not need it. I wonder if this is part of our issue, and how to best resolve this problem.
