I have a couple of DIDs going into my system. The primary plays an announcement, then goes to a ring group. All four of the extensions’ call recording options are set to “Always”. This works great.
I setup one DID to first route to the Call Recording application, which the mode set to “Never”. From there, it goes to the same process as the above DID (to the announcement, then to the ring group). My goal is to make it so that calls going into this DID are never recorded, regardless of the individual destination extension settings. From my reading of the tooltip, which says “Never will disable recording regardless of downstream settings,” this is what should be happening. However, calls into this DID are still recorded once they get to one of the extensions.
I’m running FreePBX distro 2.11.0.42. What am I missing? Thanks!
