Asterisk Rest Interface Users update

Today when processing updates I was unable to install the Asterisk Rest Interface Users update. The reason it gives is that it requires engine asterisk <=12, and I have version 11.18.0

Total idiot question here…but do need this update? I don’t use any of the rest apps (that i’m aware of). Aside from this update, should I upgrade my freepbx system beyond 11? If so, can this be done via the GUI?

This module is actually for Asterisk ARI which is Asterisk 13+ you would only need it in a system running Asterisk 13.

Thanks! Should I disable or uninstall it from the system modules to keep the update error from appearing?

disable will keep “updateall” or “installall” from touching it.
